“Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents.
Later on in life, when we are oppressed by sickness and become old, we are again dependent on the kindness of others.
Since we are dependent on the kindness of others at the beginning and end of our lives, then how can we neglect projecting kindness towards others in the middle of our lives, when it is our best time to share it?”
― Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem

If there’s one thing we’d like you to take home,
it’s that it’s time we stop passing over the elderly.
That will likely be you some day, you know; do you treat your seniors
the way you’d like to be treated?
We’re Jim & Caroline and we’re based out of Raleigh, NC.
About five years ago, we had to return to our hometown to care for our ailing parents. Little did we know how much we’d learn about the modern senior condition. Since that first year of our return, we’ve been doing our best to fight for senior mental health and support.
We hope you’ll join us in this!
Our goal here is to highlight ways in which we can give seniors support.
We’re always tinkering with this site and adding more findings, so we hope you’ll check in regularly.
