In a large bowl, combine ground vegetables, sunflower seed powder, chia seeds, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Optional: Add spices like curry, vegan poultry seasoning, or your favorite herbs for extra flavor. - Form patties:
Use a ½-cup measure to scoop portions. Shape into patties. - Dehydrate:
Place patties on non-stick dehydrator sheets. Dry at 150°F for 1 hour to remove excess moisture, then lower to 120°F and dehydrate for 6–8 hours, flipping halfway through.
Tip: Only dehydrate enough for two days and keep the rest of the fresh mixture refrigerated — it stays moist and delicious for up to 7 days!
